Home Energy Fair Returns: Coming to Bath This Autumn
Are you planning home improvements and want to make your home more comfortable at the same time? The Home Energy Fair Bath is your chance to find out how. This one-day event will show you practical energy upgrades that make homes healthier, more comfortable, and more affordable to run.
Following the success of our first Home Energy Fair in South Gloucestershire earlier this year, we are excited to bring the event to Bath. The fair will connect homeowners with trusted suppliers, community organisations, and local experts, giving you the chance to explore practical ways to improve the comfort and efficiency of your home.
What to expect at the Home Energy Fair
- Expert talks and demos on retrofit options such as heat pumps, solar panels, and high-performance insulation.
- A wide range of exhibitors showcasing products and services that can cut bills and improve comfort.
- One-to-one advice from contractors, architects, and community energy groups.
- Practical upgrades to explore that improve efficiency and create healthier living spaces.
Highlights from South Glos
Earlier this year, homeowners in South Gloucestershire came to the first Home Energy Fair to discover retrofit solutions for their homes. Here’s a short video from that event to give you a taste of what to expect in Bath:
As Gary Weston, Director of Vision 2030, explains:
“We think this is an excellent opportunity for homeowners to come and find out a little bit more about what’s available to improve the efficiency of their properties. We’re pleased to be part of it.”
Why retrofit matters
Across the West of England, homeowners are looking for clear, independent retrofit advice. The Home Energy Fair Bath gives people the confidence to act by showing them what is possible, introducing them to local contractors, and sharing solutions that work in real homes.
The fair is part of a growing programme supported by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority and delivered by Retrofit West. The event is being managed by Future Leap, with support from Go Green Widcombe and Bath & West Community Energy, alongside The Green Register, who play a key role in training and upskilling the construction sector. Together, these organisations are helping homeowners access the advice, skills, and connections they need to take the next step.
